Capital Glass has remained a Vancouver Island based company for over thirty years. Actually, the Messerschmidt family has been in the glass business on The Island since Ken's grandfather started out in Victoria in the 1920's. That makes for a long tradition of quality craftsmanship, superior serviceand traditional values! Today Capital Glass has four Island locations: Victoria, Sidney, Duncan and Courtenay. In recent years a smooth transition has taken place within the company as long-time employees were given the opportunities to purchase the individual branches outside of Victoria. In Courtenay, Capital Glass is now owned and operated by Tony Ryan. Honored to have been an employee of Mr. Messerschmidt, a well respected and vastly knowledgeable person of the auto glass industry, it is Tony's goal to maintain the high standards of Capital Glass.
