I have had service calls and repairs from this company three times in the last 5 years, and none were warranty work, my dryer was actually 12 years old. I have had prompt, polite and thorough service men, and good advice from each of them. I feel I can trust them as they explain the problem, and the pros and cons of a repair vs replacement. I highly recommend this company. And my 13 year old dryer still works perfectly!

My just over 2 yr old GE oven stopped working. It wasn’t under warranty and I called Platinum to come have a look. This was a week before Christmas dinner at my place. They came the next day! For some reason my oven just started working again. Christmas was back on! Due to not being able to diagnose the problem it stopped again in March. After fighting with GE, Platinum advocated for me and managed to get a bunch of parts from GE for all my trouble and had them in and the oven fixed.

My just over 1 year old dishwasher was defective and I made the mistake of going to Platinum Appliance. They dispatched Jason, whom others here have complained, who showed up and within minutes of arrival, stormed out of the house without completing the repair. Reason: he was bothered by our friendly puppy who was simply happy to see him. We immediately locked up the dog but Jason refused to come back. Even my cleaning lady was assuring him he would not be a problem and he rudely scorned her wh

Technician needs to go to Anger Management Classes !!! Horrible service. We gave them a second chance. They tried to hold us ransom by refusing to order and install a part unless we removed a negative posting from a year or more ago. Said they were the only people in the Lower Mainland who could repair our fridge. Let's see what Whirlpool has to say about this so-call "authorized repair" company. Don't go anywhere near this incompetent company. Awful people!!!

I've had Platinum Appliances in to do both warranty and non-warranty repair on three appliances. No problems with any of the three. Appreciated courtesy and professionalism of repair technicians. Do trust them and will call them again.
